Richard Stock

Director

As AHA’s founding director, Richard has been responsible for leading the projects which have formed the foundation of AHA’s success. He has successfully delivered more than 100 major consulting projects for commonwealth and state/territory governments.

Richard is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and combines strong financial, economic and statistical expertise with outstanding project management and communication skills.  He has extensive experience across most aspects of healthcare in Australia, with particular focus on system reform, redesign and improvement.

Richard Stock

Chay is a Director of AHA and has nearly 20 years’ management and health sector consulting experience, at AHA and with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London. 

He has overseen all of AHA’s major program administration engagements in the past 10 years. These projects have required Chay to work collaboratively with government clients to implement significant policy and service delivery reform. Chay is known for his flexible, responsive and customer-focused approach to the delivery of program administration services.

Tess Lethborg

Head of Major and Strategic Projects

As an Associate Director of AHA and head of strategic and major projects, Tess is highly experienced in managing large-scale, complex engagements on behalf of government clients across a range of sectors. 

Tess is adept at establishing new processes and frameworks for AHA’s major engagements and is recognised for her ability to identify and implement innovative solutions to meet clients’ requirements and optimise project outcomes.

Jill Waddell

Head of Evaluation and Advisory Division

Jill is an Associate Director of AHA and head of evaluation and advisory services. Over her 10 years at AHA, Jill has had ultimate responsibility for a range of complex, mixed-methods evaluation, reviews and administration projects for government department

Jill is committed to driving positive outcomes for clients and other stakeholders and enjoys working collaboratively with clients to develop evidence-based solutions to complex policy problems. She is skilled in stakeholder engagement and works hard to ensure that the voices of diverse, marginalised or ‘hard-to-reach’ people are reflected in our work.

Will Currie

Chief Information Officer

Over the past 8 years, Will has led the significant growth in AHA’s software development capability, and technology capabilities more broadly. He is currently responsible for our 25+ person team of IT Developers, Business Analysts, Testers and the IT Security and Support Team.

He brings to CIO role extensive experience managing the IT requirements for AHA’s administration projects and in-depth knowledge of government IT security requirements.

Dr Alex Stretton

Program Administration and Management Service Lead

Alex is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager who has led several of AHA’s program administration and management projects. 

Alex’s role has a focus on on client liaison and engagement, business process development, KPI monitoring and reporting and the development of the technical solutions for the management and reporting of programs. This role makes the most of Alex’s outstanding stakeholder engagement and data management skills, which he initially gained during his PhD research and subsequent consulting experience which saw him lead data collection from students, teachers and parents for several nation-wide research projects.

Jessica Hood

Contact and Support Centre Service Lead

Jessica is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager who has held operational leadership roles in several of AHA’s major program administration projects and support centre implementations. 

Her experience managing implementing and managing, one of AHA’s support centres, as well as her experience in managing several other government services projects has equipped her with the skills required to establish contact and support centres, and manage large-scale government services projects.  Her skills and experience include staff onboarding and training, operational and business process development and documentation, performance monitoring and management, reporting, and stakeholder communication and engagement.

Katie Cooper

Eligibility Assessment and Verification Service Lead

Katie is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager, with experience leading AHA’s large-scale government services projects, with a particular focus on eligibility assessment and verification services. 

She currently manages an assessment project, to verify aged care providers’ claims to specialised service delivery. The My Aged Care specialisation verification project makes the most of Katie’s outstanding ability to quickly understand new projects and subject matter. This has enabled her to effectively consult with government stakeholders and synthesise and analyse project information to devise assessment programs that are rigorous and consistent and deliver the required outcomes for the client. 

Jess Armstrong

Claims and Payment Processing Service Lead

Jess is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager and is the current project manager of AHA’s pharmacy claiming and payments projects. At the core of these projects is the processing and payment of high volumes of claims to community pharmacies, and other associated program stakeholders. 

Jess’ role has required her to develop business processes for the management of program claiming and implement these processes, including liaising with our in-house IT team to translate business processes into technological solutions. Once implemented, Jess is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of these claiming programs, which pay out more than $XYZ million per year.

Greer Mountjoy

Surveying and Data Collection Service Lead

Greer is an experienced Project Manager, with particular experience in relation to AHA’s Surveying and Data Collection Services. She has managed the Long Form Outcomes Framework Data Collection project on behalf of the NDIA since 2019. This project involves Greer recruiting, training and overseeing a team of more than 45 data collectors each year, who conduct more than 11,000 surveys of NDIS participants and their families over a 3-month period.

Dr Susie Fletcher

Secretariat Services Lead

Susie is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager with a background of over 15 years’ experience as a health services researcher.  At AHA she has used her skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and quantitative and qualitative research methods to ensure the successful completion of a range of government services projects. 

Her career as a health services researcher and AHA project manager has seen her working in and alongside numerous committees and advisory groups – experience which she is able to leverage in the management of Secretariat Services delivery at AHA.

Anthony Debrincat

Technology Solutions Service Lead

Anthony is an accomplished IT professional, with exceptional skills in data management and analysis, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder liaison. Over the past 5 years he has played a key role in overseeing the development, security and ongoing functionality of AHA’s technological solutions, in particular our proprietary online claiming portals and program management software. 

In addition, he has extensive experience in managing data on behalf of government agencies, and has worked with government departments and external sector stakeholders to facilitate data linkage and access to improve system efficiency and maintain data security and reliability.

Rita Portelli

Workforce Solutions Service Lead

With more than 20 years of human resources experience, Rita has proven her ability to recruit and retain high-calibre teams for small and large-scale projects. Since joining AHA in 2016, she has been responsible for the recruitment and induction of over 300 staff. This has involved the swift recruitment of large teams for all of our administration projects, such as the recruitment of 30 additional team members within a 2-month period for our Administrator of Community Pharmacy Programs engagement.
